Alas, part two doesn’t exactly open with the planned ceremony. Instead, on the first page, fellow metal-bending Toph is suddenly, shockingly, face-to-face with her long-lost father. Because he shouldn’t be in the refinery, the father is called “Boss Man Lao”, a man without a family, not to mention lacking in basic honesty and morality. He is not very cooperative or hospitable.
