Best Action Movies 2021 Full Movie – I must tell you that 2021 has been a bit disappointing for me in terms of action. All the much awaited films haven’t impressed me as much as they should have. Mortal Kombat, Snake Eyes, Fast 9. Even none, that I liked, were missing parts. It seemed that 2021 is going to be useless in terms of action.
But then it came along. The latest film from legendary Hong Kong filmmaker Benny Chan, starring martial arts action legend Donnie Yen and Asian pop culture icon Nicholas Tse, is what I call the best action film of the year. That movie is… Raging Fire.

If you’re as frustrated with the lack of great action this year as I am, then Raging Fire is for you. The great Benny Chan has left us one last masterpiece of action thriller. Truly the best stunt work I have seen in years. When the action starts, it grabs you by the throat and never lets go.
You get a chance to engage in spectacular battles, gun battles and chases, all of which are epic in nature. Yen (who was the action director) as well as stunt coordinator Kenji Tanigaki and action choreographer Kang Yu really showed themselves with the action here. You are in for a treat.
Yen and Tse also deserve credit for their superb work, not only on the action side, but also on the acting side as they deliver some of their best work to date. They tit-for-tat playing two former friends turned enemies reminds me of great performances from Pacino and De Niro.
But it’s easy for them to be as good as they are because of the excellent script, which touches on loyalty, honor, and corruption, which is typical if you’ve seen Chan’s last few films (Gen-X Cops, New Cop Story, Invisible Target).

Any problem? The movie ends too abruptly for me, as there were points I wanted to see resolved, but it is what it is.
It would be remiss if I do not mention that the film is a bit sour-sweet. Seeing Benny Chan’s brilliant work on display, it really saddens you to realize that we will never see this great master deliver something like this again.
And the loving tribute that played during the credits didn’t help me emotionally at all. Benny Chan has been one of my favorite directors for quite some time now and his death was a great loss to the entire film world.
But he left us not only an indelible legacy, but also a farewell gift, which is wonderful. So thank you Mr. Chan. For all that you have done for the world of action film making. And who doesn’t love some thrill and spill that will keep you glued to your seats and screens? From amazing stunts to amazing chases and explosions, this is why action movies work so well.
