You know, one of the first paintings that was made showed a beautiful dinosaur like this. It’s called Gertie the Dinosaur and it was released in 1914 – 100 years ago! In the movie, the gamer Gertie plays tricks on her boss.
How To Draw A Cute Stegosaurus Dinosaur? (in 15 Steps)
Dinosaur cartoon characters have been popular for a long time. Littlefoot, the “long-necked” dinosaur from The Land Before Time, grew up with his friends Ducky “duck-bill” hadrosaur, Petrie “flyer” or pterodactyl, Serra “three-horned or triceratops”. and Spike and “spike-tail” or Stegosaurus. The movie also featured the terrifying “Sharp-Tooth” or Tyrannosaurus Rex!
Do you know the name of a dinosaur with a long neck like our example? For many years, children have learned that his name is Brontosaurus. Later, scientists decided that Brontosaurus and Brachiosaurus were the same species and retired the name Brontosaurus. However, recently, the fossils of a brontosaurus were discovered – the brontosaurus is back!
Besides Brontosaurus and Brachiosaurus, there are other dinosaurs with long necks like giraffe. These include Apatosaurus and Diplodocus.
1. Start drawing a cute dinosaur drawing by making three long curved lines. Two loose lines will form a neck. The third will come back. It should meet and overlap the upper neck line.

2. Next, draw the front part. Use two curved lines for the dinosaur’s chest and shoulders. From the shoulders, add another line and fold it again to outline the legs and feet. Then, draw a small line on the top of the foot and the base of the neck.
3. Remove the other front leg. Again, add a curved line and fold it again to outline the leg like an elephant. Then, use “U” shaped lines to create nails on each foot.
4. Remove the back legs. Use a curved line for the top of the leg. Let the second line overlap to complete the sentence.
5. Draw two curved lines between the front and back legs, the stomach and other back legs. Use the same “U” shaped lines to draw the toenails as you did on the front legs.

6. Draw a cute cartoon head of a dinosaur. Use curved lines to outline the jaw, top and sides of the head, nose and chin. Bend one line inward at the top of the head, without connecting to another line.
Between them, draw a series of “U” lines to add dust or spikes to the dinosaur’s head. Use small “U” shaped lines for the nose and a small shadow in each.
7. Draw two ovals for the eyes. Shade a small oval in each to show the student. Form the eyebrows and create a curved shape above each eye.
8. Draw two lines, one through the hind legs and the other through the back of the dinosaur. Let the lines meet in a soft place, creating a tail. Draw the top of the tail using a series of “U” lines.

9. Draw a line down the back of the dinosaur and close the “U” spike above it. Apply as needed.
Color your cute dinosaur drawing. Since no one has ever seen a dinosaur, we don’t know the exact color. Is it green like this or brown? Be creative when you draw your designs!

T Rex Drawing
The trick to drawing cute animals is to use a lot of circles and circles – this is what adds beauty to these animals.
From the back of the head, draw a long curve to the tail and finish the end of the tail pulling the line down.
The dinosaur’s arms are very small so just draw a small V shape in the middle of the dinosaur’s body.
And now, we’re going to draw the dinosaur’s face – I’m just going to draw a small circle in the middle of the head to show the dinosaur’s eyes.

Next, draw small circular shapes on the dinosaur’s body. Draw small circles that start from the head and end at the tail.
You can also make them pointy, but I prefer the round ones because I find them to be very cute.
You can paint this dinosaur any color you want but for this tutorial I will paint it green!
Next, I will color the scales. You can change the scale to different colors or use multiple colors for the scale. Let creativity take over!

And finally with a light yellow color (almost a cream color), I will change the stomach and legs of the dinosaur to add more details to the dinosaur.
