When you thought Carnival couldn’t beat other world-class attractions found on rival cruise lines’ ships, like skydiving simulators and double-decker racetracks, you’d be wrong! It will be the first rollercoaster at sea to debut at the Mardi Gras Carnival later this year. Bolt is an electric thrill ride that puts you in the driver’s seat. You control the speed of the car as it travels through this open-air course suspended above the ship. We will definitely be the first to try this ride! For less adventurous cruisers, you can take it easy on the pedal and enjoy the ocean views by track. There is an additional fee for running bolt rollers.
Carnival Faster To The Fun: Is Fttf Worth It? [2023 Review]
For a bird’s-eye view of the ocean and pool deck, with a slightly less adrenaline rush, Carnival Vista, Horizon and Panorama cruisers can enjoy the Skyride. This unique and free attraction, only found on Carnival Cruise Line ships, is a two-lane bicycle path suspended above sea level. If you’re up for some practice, see who can get around the ship the fastest. If you want to slow down to take in the views, you can too. Remember, the faster you pedal, the faster your ride will end. Don’t worry about your fitness level as this ride is fun for all ages as long as you meet the minimum height and weight restrictions.
An IMAX theater is found at Carnival Vista and Horizon. If you’ve ever seen a movie in an IMAX theater, you know it’s the most immersive movie experience possible. With a bigger screen and higher resolution than most movie theaters, you’ll be completely immersed in the movie. You can watch current Hollywood hits and IMAX documentaries on your Carnival cruise. This is a great activity for family fun on a rainy day or when you need a break from the sun. Final prices are said to be $12.95 for adults, $9.95 for children and $5.50 for documentaries, but check your Fun Times daily schedule for current movies and prices during the cruise.
Making its debut on the Carnival panorama, Sky Zone is the first indoor trampoline at sea and a challenge zone for thrill seekers of all ages. The arena is a two-story, 3,000+ square foot arena that offers a variety of activities including a rock climbing wall and ladder, balance beam and step beam, basketball experience, dodge ball and more. One-hour sessions are currently available for $12 for three different age groups. This price includes exclusive SkyZone socks. There’s a nightly glitter party for all ages ($18). Reservations can be made once at the Sky Zone Kiosk.
While all cruise lines offer family-friendly activities, Carnival Cruise Line caters to families and offers the ultimate family fun at sea. In addition to all the great amenities listed previously, Carnival has nightly entertainment and game shows for the whole family, like the new Family Feud live debut at Carnival Mardi Gras and the cruiser favorite Hasbro Game Show. Yatzy, sorry, who doesn’t love classic board games like Connect 4 or Simon? On carnival ships, you can grab your crew and battle it out in larger-than-life games on stage.
