We also need to introduce the new character [Hailee Steinfeld’s Kate Bishop] and give them enough time to connect and create that special dynamic that we love about the comics,” he said in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter.

“So the delay gave us six hours, three takes, which gave us the creative flexibility we needed to tell the story.”
Hockey, the archer, is often the color of many jokes, some of them from superheroes (I’m looking at you, Deadpool), but Renner recently said that’s one of the reasons why Hockey is such a relatable character.
“I’ve always loved how he’s championed the fantasy of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) because he’s a superhero without superpowers,” Renner told BBC Radio 1 Newsbeat.
“That’s why they’re fighting in the first place – because he has a family and kids,” he added.

After the premiere, the series will release a new episode every week leading up to Christmas.
It was the first Marvel Studios series since WandaVision to begin with a dual cast, followed by The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, Loki and What If…?. everyone sticks to one episode a week.
The release date was first announced earlier this summer with the first official image from the Disney Plus series, which shows Clint Barton and Kate Bishop in a classroom decorated with Christmas lights.

Filming began in New York in December 2020 and wrapped four months later in April of this year, with Renner saying he can’t wait to see what fans can expect (via Instagram).
Hockey premiered on Disney on Wednesday, November 24th at 3pm EST, with the first two episodes airing simultaneously.
The rest of the series will be available on the streaming service at the same time each week.
There will be six episodes in total, meaning the final episode will air on Wednesday, December 22.
