How Is The Weather Going To Be Tomorrow – HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) – With a strong winter weather system moving in tomorrow morning, you’ll want to enjoy the mild weather today. Although it is still snowing in some areas, we have seen a lot of snow melting over the past few days. Today will be the last mild day as the clouds quickly move to the northeast giving way to sunny skies this afternoon. Highs will range from the lower 40s in the northeast to the lower 60s in the south. South and southeast winds 15 to 25 kilometers per hour, gusting to 35 kilometers per hour. Then tonight a cold front will move in from the northwest. In this front, clouds will increase during the night and the wind will turn to the northeast and become quite strong. Initially, rain will quickly turn to snow in northwest Nebraska as cold air moves into the southeast. Early Wednesday morning, snow will fall in the northern and northwestern parts of Local4’s viewing area. Lows Wednesday morning will range from the low 10s in the northwest to the mid-30s in the southeast.
Snow will spread across the region Wednesday night into Wednesday, though parts of the southeast Tri-Cities may have a chance for showers or a mix of showers later in the day or Wednesday. . Snow will begin moving northeast Wednesday night into Thursday morning. Most of the snow should fall by sunrise on Thursday, but may continue into the northeast in the morning. Travel is not recommended … especially for those living in the north and northwest. After an already cold day Wednesday (highs around 10°N to 40°S below), very cold weather filled in Wednesday night. The low temperature will be from -10 to 10 degrees in the southeast. The wind may drop from -25° to -35°.

Valley rain and mountain rain/snow will fall this weekend as a storm system moves over our area. Some valleys may see some snow this weekend, especially Saturday/Sunday morning. The exact amount of snow and rain is still a long way off, but several inches of snow could accumulate in the mountains Friday through Sunday, and valleys could see a quarter-inch of wet precipitation beginning Friday. Sunday, so this cold front and storm system will bring some much needed moisture to our area.
