1. Begin the outline of Santa’s face by drawing his eyes. Draw the eyes using curved lines. Then shade a partial oval inside each eye to mark the pupils. Draw a curved line between the eyes to suggest the bridge of the nose.
2. Draw an oval for the nose. Extend curved lines from it to form the top of the mustache. Then draw a curved line above each eye to mark the eyelid and close the bushy eyebrows like a cloud using the curved lines.
3. Use some connected curved lines to outline the mustache. Then draw a “U” shaped line below it to form the mouth.

4. Draw curved lines inside the mouth to indicate the tongue and teeth, and below them to form the chin. Next, sketch the sides of the chin using curved lines of varying lengths that meet at sharp points.
8. Draw Santa’s hat. Attach a curved rectangle to the top of the head, and draw a long curved line on one side.
Complete the outline of Santa’s face using overlapping curved lines to complete the closure of the hat. Then sketch a round pom pom on top.

Now the second lesson that I will teach is about how to draw Santa Claus cartoon face step by step. With Christmas just around the corner, I’m going to teach three seasonal drawing lessons that are super easy and fun. I wanted to make a simple face because many kids draw Santa’s happy face while painting at school or at home because it’s a fun, festive activity during the holidays. When I came up with the sketch for Santa’s face, I wanted it to be very cute, cheerful, fun and simple. Each piece of this Santa cartoon face is chubby and round, which makes drawing Santa a very easy lesson. I drew it on my Wacom tablet using Photoshop because it didn’t require sketching at all. The entire tutorial from start to finish only took me thirty minutes and since you don’t need twenty more minutes to do the Santa face tutorial, the drawing should only take you ten minutes.
