How To Train Your Dragon New Dragons
Hiccup Haddock introduces himself to the reader as the first Viking to befriend the Night Fury. He then tells the reader how each of his friends paired up with their dragon: Stormfly with Astrid Hofferson, Fishlegs Ingerman with Meatlug, Snotlout Jorgensen with Hookfang, and Ruffnut and Tuffnut with Thorsten Barf and Belch. Hiccup proudly states that all the Vikings in Berk have accepted dragons as their friends, making the island the first dragon and Viking utopia. Hiccup explains that the Vikings began studying dragons and discovering new species, to the point where they believed they had seen them all. However, as Hiccup tells the reader, the latest discoveries are the Crimson Goregutter and the Hobgobbler, which they mistake as being encountered by the Dragon Riders during the mission. Hiccup explains that some people outside of Berk hunted and killed dragons like the still feared Grimmel Grimmel. The hunter uses his dragons, the Death Eaters, which have poison strong enough to kill or kill the dragon. To capture Toothless, Grimmel uses a female light fury as bait, but the plan backfires and the two dragons begin to bond. Hiccup describes Light Fury’s ability to become invisible. Since Grimmel knows Berk’s location, Hiccup decides to leave the island and seek out the Hidden World, the legendary home of all dragons. Hiccup soon realized that the Light Fury was following them, so he made a new tail fin for Toothless so he could fly on his own. A bit angry Toothless is taken to the underworld, Hiccup and Astrid follow them there. Hiccup realizes that the Vikings and dragons must separate in order to live in peace. Years later, Hiccup visits the Hidden World and learns that Toothless has three children, the Nightlights.

Crimson Goregutters are massive in size and possess incredible strength. As powerful as they are, these creatures are loyal to their alpha and care for those they consider their friends. Although they are not one of the fastest kites around, their size is their reward so don’t be fooled and you can spot a Crimson Groove miles away! These unique dragons are born with huge horns used as weapons in battle and a stunning axe-like tail; Enemies will not stand against them! They have excellent ear-spitting calls that they use to communicate with others over long distances. These thunderous calls come in handy when reinforcement is needed.
Crimson Goregutter’s name was revealed at the 2018 Annecy Film Festival in How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World.
According to Simon Ott, the Crimson Goregutter should appear prehistoric and majestic, yet docile at the same time. The horns were inspired by an extinct species of moose of large proportions called Megaloceros. To give the dragon an aged appearance, Otto used the skin of fish, especially perch.
In School of Dragons, Crimson Goregutter eggs are oval shaped with a unique shell pattern on them. They have a dark gray base and the scales come in different colors such as yellow, orange, red, pink, purple and turquoise.
How To Train Your Dragon’ Live Action Movie In The Works For 2025
Crimson Goregutters are one of the largest land dragons. They are predominantly crimson in color with purple details and lighter undersides. They have four long and stout legs, their front legs are longer than their back legs. The goregutter’s most prominent features are the massive moose-like metallic horns that adorn their short-nosed heads. These horns are powerful enough to be used as formidable weapons. The tip of their tail is shaped like a battle axe, which can be used for defensive and offensive purposes.
The Crimson Goregutter Titan Wing’s horns, plates, and spikes are larger and sharper than their broadwing counterparts. Their tails are significantly enlarged and there are several large holes at the tips of their horns.
Crimson Goregutters, like other Boulder-class dragons such as Gronkles and Hotburples, can launch molten lava from their mouths. They can also project their lava onto their fireproof horns before attacking their intended targets.
In DreamWorks Dragons: Dawn of New Riders, Crimson Goregutter’s lava color is shown as blue.
How To Train Your Dragon Live Action Remake Announced
