Hunger Games Mockingjay Part 2 Free – A murder is an execution without trial. In some cases, it can achieve the same result as a trial – the death penalty – but it can also lead to the death of a person who is innocent of any crime. For this reason, murder is and should always be illegal.

(2015) Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) plots to assassinate President Snow (Donald Sutherland). The film suggests that assassinating a political leader who intentionally kills civilians is a justified act.

According to international humanitarian law, the first rule of war is that “attacks may not be directed against civilians.”

President Snow routinely violates the first rule of war. In addition to overseeing the Hunger Games that result in the deaths of 23 citizens each year, he bombed District 12, killing thousands of innocent people. To prevent Snow from killing more civilians, Katniss plans to assassinate him.

However, Snow is not the only person who kills civilians. President Alma Coin (Julianne Moore) ordered bombs to be dropped on the Capitol to hit Snow and kill the refugees. This caused Snow’s own soldiers to turn against him and ended the civil war. Coin also intends to continue the Hunger Games to prevent the citizens of the Capitol from seeking revenge. For both Snow and Coin, killing civilians is justified under certain circumstances.

In the film’s climax, Katniss murders President Coin for his attack on the refugees. (Killing the Coin is also an act of revenge for Katniss because her sister was killed in the bombing.) After killing the President, she shows no remorse or remorse and is later forgiven for her crime. This tells the viewer that if someone assassinates a president who kills civilians, it is moral and just. What the film suggests about murder—that it can be justified in certain cases to prevent future crimes—is relevant to today’s world events.

In Syria, President Bashar al-Assad is no different than President Snow or President Coin. According to Amnesty International, barrel bomb attacks have killed more than 11,000 civilians since 2012.

If the US killed President Assad, it could end the Syrian civil war and save the lives of countless civilians; however, it is illegal to directly target a political leader for assassination. In 1981, President Ronald Reagan issued Executive Order 12333: “No person employed by or acting on behalf of the United States Government shall participate in or conspire to participate in an assassination.”

Although direct assassination attempts are illegal, a political leader can be killed indirectly through airstrikes. In 1986, in response to a planned Libyan terrorist attack on a Berlin nightclub, President Reagan ordered airstrikes against “the home and headquarters of the Libyan leader, Colonel Muammar Gaddafi.”

The president justified the attack because “the United States was exercising its right of self-defense as defined in Article 51 of the United Nations Charter.”

Although Gaddafi was not killed, the attack on his house was not illegal. As Nathan Canestaro points out, “the laws of war permit attacks on valid military targets at any time and place.”

President Reagan could not attack Gaddafi directly, but if he were killed during the bombing of a valid military target, this would not be against the rules of war.

, Katniss’ murder of President Coin should be seen for what it is: first degree murder. A murder is an execution without trial. In some cases, it can achieve the same result as a trial, a death sentence, but it can also result in the death of someone who is innocent of any crime. For this reason, murder is and should always be illegal. To get justice, Coin would have to be tried for his war crime, and if found guilty, he would be sentenced to death like Snow. Styled like an old-fashioned portrait, the new art debuted in conjunction with the 2015 Cannes Film Festival and features Katniss. Everdeen is protective behind her little (still wise beyond her years) sister, Primrose.

Photographed by Tim Palen, Katniss sports her usual fishnet braid and wears a multi-layered armored suit for protection. Prim sits in a chair in front of her brave sister, a worried look written on her face. This teaser image hints at the trouble that will ensue as Katniss and District 13 prepare to engage in an all-out revolution against the oppressive Capitol.

The second poster shows, as expected, the mocking jay, now fully on fire, the hybrid race made from the combination of mockingbirds and jabberjays that bonded with Katniss and thus became

Symbol of the revolution. Katniss has a special bond with these creatures as they remind her of her father and his ability to remember melodies.

In the previous posters, Lawrence took to the stage with a bow and arrow, her usual weapon of choice based on her star skills. Katniss’ romance with Peeta (Josh Hutcherson) has also been hinted at several times, with an epic photo of the duo getting ready for their victory tour, among other battle-related teaser images.

But as we know, it is the tough bond between the two sisters that will be decisive in the final part of the epic saga.movie. The first three were huge successes and although it plays at the box office less similar

The franchise has already been incredibly successful for Lions Gate Entertainment. That’s the beauty of a franchise with a set end date. At some point the wealth becomes so great that what is left qualifies as gravy.

? What kind of studio would Lions Gate Entertainment be without the guaranteed mega-millions every year? But for this particular entry in this blockbuster franchise, there are only arbitrary problems.

Will it open closer to $150 million or $130 million? Will it break below $350 million? or more or less than 400 million dollars. in America? Will the overseas 3D conversion allow the film to flirt with $900 million? or even the magical billion dollars? These are all questions that will be explicitly debated and answered in the near future. But the legacy of

Is that it may be one of our last blockbuster-level franchises that was completely “new to cinema” when it started, and proved once and for all that there was a mass market for female-centric action blockbusters to the biggest focused properties in the man

I like that the pan-circus irony of how it was marketed hindered my ability to actually get into the movie, or that I wonder how many would-be fans were only interested in the narrative on the surface. But it’s up to me, and no matter how great this final chapter ends up being,

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 1

Ultimately, The Hunger Games franchise is a triumphant and defining deconstruction of the hero myth itself. I’ll admit that I haven’t read the Suzanne Collins books, which at least teased me about something that came before. I went straight to the first film and despised how it created an artificial morality in an inherently immoral situation, so that my IMAX opening night audience clapped and howled in approval when a kidnapped child murdered another out of necessity. The second film, superior as it was, still felt a little watered down, though it made no effort to make “Hunger Games” exciting or engaging. Seeing the bread market and circus up close didn’t help one bit.

And the franchise showed its hand in the third film, finally free of its own boring Hunger Games, which offers not only an explicit critique of infotainment and the false reality of much of our supposedly non-fictional media, but a dark look at how both sides of a conflict used biased narrative propaganda to sway the masses in their favor. And now Mockingjay Part 2 is a benchmark for what turns out to be an incredibly dark joke. It’s as exciting and daring as any franchise finale I can remember. And in retrospect, I should have trusted the filmmakers from the start.

Fear not, I’m not going to talk about how the franchise is ending. Lionsgate’s marketing campaign was relatively spoiler-free until the very end, so I won’t take the win away from it. But I will say that the four-film franchise is a fantastically insightful portrait of Katniss Everdeen both as a myth and as a woman. By that I mean that the entire franchise is about how stakeholders on all sides created a fictional version of Mrs. Everdeen, taking an ordinary, poor girl who just wanted to survive until the next day and turning her into a symbol. and again And of course, the media narrative of its lead actress, Jennifer Lawrence, followed the films in what could only be called an exercise in irony.

But what’s impressive about this series finale is how it doesn’t just deprive fans of what they might expect. It completely rubs our noses in our expectations and our desires. More than just a story of a heroic young woman who unites the masses against a tyrannical government,
