I decided to jump on the couch and watch the movie but I had to read the book first, I always like it that way but sometimes it can mean ruining a good book. I remember when I first took it 12 years ago when I was living with my Aunt and Uncle.
My uncle had a good book, I tried to read a chapter but I couldn’t. I wish I had tried harder because I had more time to read it than I do now. It’s not a fast read for me, but I think it just comes with the time of year and I don’t find it a fast read.
New Tolkien Book: The Fall Of Númenor To Be Published
I have to say such a small book has a lot in it. The chapters have a lot of detail in them from the description of the place to the people and the atmosphere, it makes you feel like you are there watching the dialogue between Bilbo and.
Gollum for example. Sometimes I got really lost in this book and I loved the pictures at the beginning of each chapter. In my version they are written by David Wyatt, each setting the stage for the next chapter. It’s amazing!
‘There was a hob in a hole in the ground. It is not a dirty, dirty, wet hole full of worm-ends and a musty smell, or a hole of dry sand with nothing to live in or eat: it is a hobbit hole, and it means comfort. .’
This opening made me realize that we are about to meet a proud and maybe a little proud creature. Now we meet Bilbo.
A Few Of My Favorite Quotes From The Hobbit And The Lord Of The Rings Trilogy
I love all the back stories Tolkien uses to create Bilbo’s character. No wonder they started with Bilbo on someone he knew, because he has human nature.
I’m sure everyone has heard of The Hobbit and what it’s about by now. I thought so until I read it. It begins with the introduction of Bilbo Baggins the hobbit who seems to have a peaceful and peaceful life and does not want to do anything outside his comfort zone, the fast, fun and dangerous adventures. , until one day he changed everything and he. it ends on a long and changing journey
His forever. There is also the way people think about each other. The Dwarves do not think much of Gandalf the Wizards’ decision to take the hobbits on a dangerous journey to retrieve treasure from the dangerous dragon Smaug, but eventually due to events many of them came to believe in him and accept him. . within a tribe/group. It reminds me of today’s society, especially schools, and sometimes we have to prove that we are accepted in other groups.
I really like this book. I recommend it to everyone, I think you should give more of your time and spend it on it. Because it is not a book about adventures and

There are also many poems or riddles in this that are very important in the story, either to put Bilbo on a quest or to encourage the group and everyone to join in the singing, showing friendship is important. Yes, it’s a children’s book and it seems serious, but sometimes we just need to read a children’s book to gain perspective. Our lives these days and books like this are hard to escape from the real world.
