Kiersey Clemons stars in one of the best survival horror movies to come out recently. It will shock you because Jennifer is stranded on a remote island after her white privileged boyfriend’s ships sink. Naturally, there are monsters on the island, but this movie is about so much more. Definitely give him a watch.
Another Mike Flanagan film (sorry, not sorry), this adaptation of Stephen King’s book is one of the best. Carla Gugino gives an excellent performance as a woman bedridden after her husband dies during a sex game. This one has a bad cover, but it’s a really good moment. Sure, the characters make really, really stupid decisions and the logic doesn’t make sense, especially at the end, but damn, it’s fun and has some really great death scenes. Go into it with an open mind.

There are two main problems with this new Thai horror movie on Netflix, which I’ll get into later. Overall, they make this movie a lot less fun than it could have been. It’s a shame as the main story is pretty strong. Although it borrows from several other well-known horror films.
Let me start by saying that there are definitely Thai horror films of international quality. This one also has many qualities that make it worth a watch for any horror fan around the world.
First, it’s too long to tell a story. It takes a while to get started and it takes way too long to get to the big reveal. Or rather, big reveals. Like many horror movies, this one has a few twists and turns before it’s all over. And yes, some twists and turns from what you’ve shown over this long period.
Foreign Horror Movies On Netflix 2023
, is not a copy of this story. Sorry if this is a spoiler, but I thought it was worth mentioning. It doesn’t even come close to the creepy levels of this movie, which I really enjoyed.
Is the use of CGI. There are some really great VFX scenes, but there are too many CGI elements that contain blood. They feel out of place and fake. And not in some camp way that is otherwise easily excused.
Still, there are plenty of scary moments in this new Thai horror film on Netflix. Mostly because the young girl was obviously suffering. We’re talking about a toddler here, which is always heartbreaking and terrifying.
Directed by Wisit Sasanatieng and written by Abishek J. Bajaj. I don’t know either, but they have several previous projects on their IMDb bios and more in the works.
