Now, before you can draw a full face, you must first learn to draw each facial feature separately. With just one feature at a time, you can better learn anatomy and understand what to look for and capture in your image.
The nose is the least complex feature and most closely resembles a sphere, as mentioned. The five elements of cinematography are easy to see. It is important to learn to draw facial features in different poses.
Straight and profile views of the nose will give you ample practice. Follow the steps to draw the nose in both views.
Use the grid method and a mechanical pencil to create a line drawing of the nose in direct view.

After you’ve added your highlights and darks, match them with the trunk or terillion. There should be very little white left on the drawing. Many artists will leave the skin tone very light, but the highlights should be just paper white.
Be sure to blend from the darker areas to the lighter areas of the face as you did in the circle exercise. It makes it look real.

Flatten the tone with a log or torillion. Use a darker shade behind the nose to make the edges stand out.

Drawing a mouth can be a challenge, but you can draw realistic lips by breaking the process down into simple steps. Stick to creating a full, realistic mouth and avoid common drawing mistakes like defining hard edges that artists tend to make.
When examining the oral cavity, you will notice that the upper lip is usually smaller and will appear darker than the lower lip. This creates an M shape.
There is a difference between the lips of women and men. Women’s faces are more defined and look fuller and brighter. The edges of a man’s lips are finer, and the shadows around them are more defined than the edges.
Once you are sure of your accuracy, carefully remove the grid lines with a punch eraser. Line the black lips with a pencil.

It is very difficult to draw the mouth when the teeth appear. When drawing teeth, never draw a hard line between each tooth. As the teeth touch, the hard line makes them look more defined, representing a dark spot.
They should also apply some shading. Teeth are dimensional, so leaving them white makes them look smooth. The shade becomes darker as the tooth is exposed to the oral cavity. The bottom teeth are always a little darker because they don’t protrude as much.
Use the grid method and mechanical pencil to draw line drawings of the mouth and teeth. Each tooth must be perfect to create good symmetry.
Avoid hard lines between each tooth. Draw the shape of the gum line and the edges of the teeth for accuracy.

Add lashes with very quick strokes that touch the sides. They grow in layers and clumps, so don’t let them all go together in a row.
Notice how the lower eyelashes extend from the lower edge of the thickness of the lower eyelid. You can see how much the thickness of the lower lid adds to the look of the eyes.
