Lego Avengers Age Of Ultron Minifigures – Last week was a huge and expensive week for Marvel collectors, as the official street date for the Avengers Age of Ultron toy load finally arrived. But while Hasbro’s Avengers Age of Ultron figures and sets have started hitting shelves, one brand that has yet to make its Avengers movie presence known at retail is LEGO. But don’t be afraid. While the LEGO Avengers Age of Ultron sets don’t have an official release date until March 2015, the LEGO Iron Man vs. The Ultron 76029 set is out early and is now available to order.
I’m a huge LEGO fan (that’s why I have another LEGO news portal), so Avengers is a no-brainer. The Age of Ultron LEGO sets are my most anticipated toys for the first half of 2015. Although the Age of Ultron sets were officially set to hit stores in March 2015, I had a feeling that, like most LEGO sets, they’d end up in random places a week early.

Of the six LEGO sets planned for Avengers Age of Ultron, Iron Man vs. The Ultron set was at the bottom of my list. Do not misunderstand me. I think we’re getting four exclusive minifigures in this set, including a LEGO Iron Man Mark 45 minifigure (face-up, of course), two Sub-Ultron Trooper minifigures, and a Sub. Ultron Officer minifigure. but this set is not as big as the new LEGO Quinjet or LEGO Hulkbuster set.
However, LEGO 76029 Iron Man Vs. Ultron is a great army building kit with three Ultron Sentinels and a cool flying vehicle that can attach Ultron drone bodies. Crazy. You also get one of LEGO’s new Super Jumper accessories with this 2015 set, but so far I’ve found the Super Jumpers to work really poorly and aren’t much fun.
Even though this set is my least favorite in the channel, at $12 plus free shipping, there was no way I was going to pick it up anytime soon. Hopefully it will arrive early enough this week that I’ll have a chance to build it and fully review it before I head to New York Toy Fair 2015 on Friday.
