Force Spirits first appeared as miniatures in the popular LEGO Star Wars video games by TT Games, and since then the LEGO Star Wars community has been asking for the figures to be available in more than just form digital, but also in analog form. For a long time, however, this seemed hopeless, because there were almost no small parts of bright color – the only exception for a long time being the miniature head.

BrickFanatics asked the LEGO Star Wars design team at the LEGO Fan Media Dais the pressing question of why there aren’t Force Ghosts with detail parts yet. Jens Kronvold Frederiksen and Michael Lee Stockwell responded in the original English text:

Unfortunately, we can’t be sure about the Force Spirits and whether we can expect them in a LEGO set or as individual figures at some point. But it’s at least a good sign that other areas are interested in obvious details, and that a solution may eventually be developed at LEGO due to demand. This requires special transparent materials that have appropriate properties in terms of durability and flexibility.
