The most important of these is the -X ability. It’s an endgame, typically wiping out your opponent’s entire board, keeping the colorless permanents you’ve chosen to play with, and often leaving Ugin alive to peck at +2 damage.
Ugin’s ultimate ability is the icing on the cake: it’s perfectly obtainable, you only need two turns to activate it, but you hardly need it.
