The Thunder Megazord is the main Megazord of Myty Morphin Power Rangers, created by combining five Thunderzords: the Red Dragon, Lion, Unicorn, Griffin and Firebird Thunderzords, all modified from Dinozords. The Rangers pilot the Thunder Megazord with the green orb on their chest.

The Thunderzords are created from the original Dinozords and have greater strength than their predecessors. The Thunder Megazord uses a sword, the Thunder Saber, as a weapon, before making a massive slash to finish off the monster. Unlike the previous Thunder Megazord, the sword did not fall from the sky, but was kept in a sheath on his wrist. If the sword is picked up by a monster, the Thunder Megazord can charge and stun the monster Trumptop uses to steal the Thunder Saber and use it against the Order. When Lord Zedd arrived on Earth, he used his powers to control the Tyrannosaurus Dinozord and the Dragonzord, creating a speeding device head that froze the other Dinozords in time. When the Zords are frozen beyond rescue, Zordon and Alpha 5 begin work to create the Thunderzords. Using the dinosords as a template, they would use the “power of thunder” to transform the dinosords into thundersords. However, the Rangers first have to retrieve the Dinozords from Pirantishead, which they do after struggling using a signal blocker. Although Zedd destroyed the Dinozords with lightning sending the Dinozords into the lava, Zordon managed to retrieve part of them and create the Thunderzords. Devicehead then tries to control the Thunderzords but the construct is immune to his effects, so he repels them again with his nunchucks before wrapping up. He is then electrocuted, but the formation sends the reverse force together, which obliterates the chain and knocks Pirantishead down. The now enraged monster threw away the now useless nunchuck and announced his plan to destroy it with his bare fins. After zooming in on Nimrod and knocking down all five Rangers, they summoned the Thunder Megazord to destroy him, but it was powerless as the Command Center had been given power back to create a new White Ranger. After Tommy is given the powers of the White Ranger, the White Tigersword is created and the trio can only be defeated through teamwork. As the Scarlet Sentinels advance on the Zord to destroy it, Tommy enlists Jason’s help and manages to get the White Tiger back on his feet as the Red Dragon Thunderzord arrives, sidestepping AC and DC and turning the tide, while the Red Dragon Thunderzord arrives and engages the Tigerzord in battle. with the staff and strikes Nimrod’s waist.
