New Movie Coming Out This Year – I hope you saved your money, because you’ll be spending a lot of time in movies through the end of 2023. The year brings some highly anticipated films, including “Transformers: Rise of the Beasts,” “Indiana Jones 5,” and the seventh Mission: Impossible movie. Phase 5 of the MCU officially kicks off with three new Marvel movies, and fans will finally get to see Halle Bailey as Ariel in “The Little Mermaid” plus all-new stories from Pixar and Disney Animation.
This year also promises exciting sequels like “John Wick: Chapter 4,” as well as a few standalone projects like Christopher Nolan’s “Oppenheimer” and Greta Gerwig’s “Barbie,” but there’s a lot to look forward to. Timothée Chalamet will be everywhere, including in his Willy Wonka prequels, “Wonka” and “Dune: Part Two”; DC fans are having a lot of fun between “Aquaman 2” and “Blue Beetle,” while others are eagerly awaiting the musical reimagining of “The Color Purple.” And if there could be any favorite movie for the 2024 Oscars, it would probably be Martin Scorsese’s The Venus Moon Killers.

“Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse” is the long-awaited sequel to the Academy Award-winning “Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.” Technically, the movie isn’t set in the MCU, but it does feature the return of popular Marvel characters like Miles Morales, Gwen Stacy, and Peter B. Parker. It will also feature Oscar Isaac as Miguel O’Hara and Essa Rae as Jessica Drew, also known as Spider-Woman.
Transformers: Rise of the Beasts is the seventh Transformers movie, but it’s actually set in 1994’s Brooklyn. The movie follows Optimus Prime as he battles his Maximals, Predacons, and Trorkons. The human cast includes Anthony Ramos, Dominic Fishback, and Toby Nwegwe. The voice cast for Transformers includes Pete Davidson and Michelle Yeoh.

Pixar’s latest movie, “Elemental,” follows Ember, a girl made of fire who lives in Element City, where the Fire Men are out. She falls in love with Wade, a boy created from water, and their chemical reaction will have far-reaching consequences.
Despite the controversy surrounding lead actor Ezra Miller, DC is still moving forward with “The Flash.” Ben Affleck and Michael Keaton are set to appear as Batman in the film, along with Sasha Kaley’s debut as Supergirl.
“Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny” features Harrison Ford’s return to one of his most iconic roles. He is joined in the film, the final installment in the Indiana Jones franchise, by Phoebe Waller-Bridge as Indy’s daughter and partner in his exciting adventures. The new film is directed by James Mangold.
Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part 1 is the seventh film in the Impossible Mission franchise. Tom Cruise returns, of course, as Ethan Hunt, performing all kinds of death-defying stunts. Some other actors from 2018’s Mission: Impossible – Fallout resurgence, including Rebecca Ferguson and Vanessa Kirby, Hayley Atwell and Pom Klementieff have joined the wide ensemble. The eighth film, Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part 2, will follow in 2024.

“Blue Beetle” is a DC Comics movie that you may not have been aware of. It stars Xolo Maridueña as Jaime Reyes, aka Blue Beetle. He gains superpowers when an alien blue beetle scarab attaches to him, giving him a strong exoskeleton. The film also stars Bruna Marquezine as Benny, his love interest. The group includes George Lopez, Susan Sarandon, and Harvey Gillen.
Disney Movies Coming Out In 2022
Martin Scorsese’s “Killers of the Flower Moon” is set to premiere on Apple TV+ next year. The film is based on the true story of the mysterious murders of Osage tribesmen in the 1920s, which sparked a major FBI investigation. The cast includes Leonardo DiCaprio, Brendan Fraser and Robert De Niro.
Aaron Taylor-Johnson plays the titular villain in “Kraven the Hunter.” Ariana DeBose plays her love interest, Calypso, and Fred Hechinger plays her sister. Christopher Abbott and Alessandro Nivola will play Craven’s antagonists, and Russell Crowe will also appear in the film.
The Saw franchise continues with the tenth movie, titled “Saw X”. Tobin Bell returns as Jigsaw, and the cast includes Synnøve Macody Lund, Steven Brand, and Michael Beach.

‘Argylle’ is a spy thriller starring Henry Cavill as the titular agent. The cast includes Sam Rockwell, Bryce Dallas Howard, Bryan Cranston, Kathryn O’Hara, John Cena, Dua Lipa, Ariana DeBose, and Samuel L. Jackson.
