Evan Oz Mighty Morphin is the main antagonist of Power Rangers: The Movie. He was an intergalactic tyrant who wanted to conquer the universe with his expert ectomorph titans.
According to Jordan, Oz “ruled the world in a reign of unparalleled terror” until he was imprisoned in a hyperlock chamber by Jordan, Dulcia, and the “Order of Meridian”, who were probably the forerunners of the modern Power Rangers. In addition to his own power, he also had his own batch of enemy infantry and zord-like formations. Although trapped, Evan knew what was happening outside his prison. He would later complain about the Black Death, the Spanish Inquisition and missing Brady Bunch reunions. By the time of the Renaissance, he was suffering from charley horses.
Evan’s overlocked chamber is discovered six thousand years later by a construction crew in the Angel Grove construction crew, so Jordan once again sends the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers to hide the chamber, but they are killed on stage by Rita Repulsa and Lord Z. Oz travels to the moon and deposes Z and Rita, trapping them in a snow globe to prevent them from stopping his plans. Their slaves Golder and Mordant remain loyal to Evan rather than join Rita and Zed in captivity, so Evan begins brainwashing the parents of Angel Grove to mine parts of his Ecto-Morphicons: large insect-like machines similar to the Rangers’ Zords. Once the Ecto-Morphicons are complete, he sends them to destroy the city while ordering the parents to jump to their doom at the construction site. Evan then spends his time in the observatory with Goldar and observes the havoc his machines have wreaked on the city.
After the Rangers restore their power to Phaedo, they return to the Angel Grove and battle Evan’s machines with their new Ninja Zords. Using these zords, they are able to destroy Scorpitron, Scorpitron. Evan joins the Hornets and takes over the Rangers himself. The battle takes place in space and although Evan definitely has the upper hand, he is destroyed when the Ninja Falconmegazord kicks him into the path of Ryan’s comet which obliterates Evan on impact.
Evan Oz wore a purple robe with a large collar, long enough to cover his legs, a purple bracelet with red and green gems, and a belt with the same design as Rita’s headdress. His skin was violet and two horns were twisted together to make a goat. His fingernails were long, clumsy, and his head was covered in strips of skin. Dressed as a carnival magician to impart his swagger on the children, Evan appeared in white face paint and a wig with purple curly hair and wore a blue robe tied with a conical hat and a purple sash.

He was very fond of his machines, angered enough to merge with the Horniter when the Scorpitron was destroyed. He also got bored easily. When the adults took too long to find his ecto-morphicons, Evan ordered the adults to dance – “Swim!” – shows that he knew modern dance and music.
