As inflation rises, the Social Security Administration (SSA) announced that beneficiaries will see a 5.9% increase in benefits next year, the largest increase in nearly 40 years. Despite pressure and letters from TSCL, Congress did not support a fourth stimulus check, the group said. In response, seniors groups have launched a petition to raise awareness and support for stimulus checks for Social Security recipients.
