Jersey Jack Pinball shared some teasers this week that have the pinball community excited! First, they shared the following teaser on their Facebook page:

There has been a lot of speculation about what innovation they are referring to in this short video, with some speculating that the innovation could be WiFi in slot machines.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, A Pinball Machine Manufactured In 2020.

Last week our friends at the Loser Kid Pinball Podcast interviewed Josh Kugler, Director of Software Engineering at American Pinball! Here are some observations:

I made two custom pinball machines that were displayed at the Expo over the years. And that eventually led me to American pinball. American Pinball had a rough start at first with John [Popadiuk] and then they brought Joe [Balcer] in to kind of… start and Joe needed a mechanic and pretty much everyone he knew had worked before. So, American Pinball was pretty desperate and someone said that there is a person in Chicago who plays his own game, maybe you should talk to him. And they contacted me… and that’s how I ended up programming for American Pinball.

One of the things we really tried to do on this game is the production starts when we show the game to make the games. So here we are starting production when the governor says everyone go home let’s be safe. We’re really looking forward to that change, which hopefully will happen in a couple of weeks, and we can make a change and get the games out of line.

Premium and Limited Edition models feature an interactive version of customized Van turtles, equipped to lock up to 4 balls inside by mechanically opening/locking the side doors, ready to unleash multiball terror on players. These models also feature the iconic TMNT glider, a custom-style, player control flipper assembly located above both ramps that gives players the ability to control and move the ball to the flipper of their choice. In addition, a custom-made Krang toy floats above the bumpers, jumping up and down and taunting players during gameplay.

The Pro, Premium, and Limited Edition models feature a unique drawing technique in addition to a highly magnetic pizza disc capable of holding and throwing 3 balls during the multiball pizza challenge. The original 1987 theme song complements the action with custom video visuals and scenes created exclusively for this pinball experience. All models include 3 noses, 3 high speed ramps and a hidden ninja training ball lock area.
