The Evil Dead 2013 Torrent – Evil Dead Rising is a 2023 American supernatural horror film written by Lee Cronin. This is the fifth installment in the Evil Dead film series. The film stars Lily Sullivan and Alyssa Sutherland as two alien sisters trying to survive and save their family from death. The film was preceded by the direct sequels Evil Dead (2013) and Army of Darkness (1992) and Ash Vs. The fourth season of the movie “Evil Dead” (2015-2018) was canceled. In October 2019, Sam Raimi announced that a new film was in development, with Rob Tapert producing, Raimi executive producing and Bruce Campbell, Cronin writing and directing the project. New Line Cinema (distributor of the first film) was announced as the production company. Principal photography took place in New Zealand from June to October 2021. The film was originally planned to be released on the HBO Max streaming service, but distributor Warner Bros. Ultimately, Pictures decided to release the film theatrically after a positive test.

While friends Teresa and Jessica and Jessica’s new boyfriend, Caleb, are relaxing at a lakeside cabin, a seemingly sick Jessica decapitates Caleb before picking Teresa’s head off and soaring over the lake.
The day before, guitarist Beth, distraught after discovering she is pregnant, visits a condemned apartment complex in Los Angeles with her sister Ellie, single mother to teenagers Danny and Bridget, and teen Cassie. The building was shaken by the earthquake as the children discovered a hidden bedroom in the basement parking lot. Danny investigates and finds religious artifacts, three phonograph records from 1923, and a strange book that leads him to his room. Details of the original case denied the priest’s attempts to trace the book, one of the three volumes of Naturom Demonto. As you can see from the inscription below, the priest continues his research in secret and recites a spell that summons the demons known as the dead.
The building’s power goes out and Ellie, alone, is attacked and possessed by an unseen force. He returns to the apartment in a trance, threatens his family, and pleads with Beth to protect his children. Beth and Ellie’s neighbors help her relax in her room and look for a way out. They find that the staircase has collapsed, the elevator is damaged, and Ellie can’t get on the fire escape before reviving, injuring Bridget and attacking the family. Beth and the kids are locked out of the apartment after Ellie chases and slaughters her neighbors.
Danny admits to Beth that Naturom has taken Demonto back, and Ellie tricks Cassie into unlocking the door before attacking her. While Danny and Beth are distracted by rescuing Cassie and locking up Ellie, Bridget gets injured. Bridget attacks Beth and inadvertently impales Danny and Cassie in the head with a broken broomstick.

Beth listens to the third tape to figure out how to exorcise the dead, but learns that the priest has failed and all of his allies have been possessed, only the host that stopped the dead is completely destroyed. Bridget is revived and stabs Danny to death, who burns Bridget before expiring as Ellie sneaks into the apartment using the vents. Realizing that Beth is pregnant, Ellie tries to pull the fetus from her, but Beth and Cassie are able to kill her with scissors. Ellie can’t handle Cassie emotionally as she accepts that her mother is already gone.
The corpses of Danny and his neighbors take over, forcing Beth and Cassie to take refuge in the damaged elevator. Ellie, Bridget and Danny are joined by a multi-legged creature known as “The Bandit” who climbs to the top of the elevator and attacks the bloodied couple in the car. The combined weight causes the elevator to fall to the bottom floor, allowing Beth and Cassie to escape to the parking lot. The robber captures Cassie and tries to decapitate her with a chainsaw, but Beth returns and distracts him, and she and Cassie put the robber through a wood chipper and dispose of his body. Beth mocks Ellie’s severed head, telling her she will fail as a mother, prompting her to kick Ellie’s head into the chipper. Beth and Cassie escape the building together.
The next morning, Jessica goes to the parking lot to take her vacation, where she is attacked by an invisible force.
At the South by Southwest (SXSW) premiere, Fede Alvarez announced that there will be a sequel to The Evil Dead (2013), a remake of The Evil Dead (1981). In addition, Sam Raimi confirmed his intention to write Evil Dead 4 with his brother Ivan Raimi; the film was later revealed to be a sequel to Army of Darkness (1992). At a WonderCon panel in March 2013, Bruce Campbell and Alvarez revealed that their ultimate plan was to make a seventh film, following Alvarez’s Evil Dead 2 and Raimi’s Army of Darkness 2, combining Ash Williams’ stories and Mia Allen. Campbell has confirmed that he will reprise his role as Ash in Army of Darkness 2. Later that month, Alvarez tweeted to his followers that Raimi would direct Army of Darkness 2. In November, Campbell expressed doubts about the fourth Evil Dead movie starring Raimi. Army of Darkness 2 will eventually be followed by Ash Vs. “Evil Dead” will be turned into a TV series.

Speaking about the future of the Evil Dead franchise in November, following the cancellation of the fourth season of Ash vs. Evil Dead in April 2019, Alvarez said, “these are ideas right now. Nothing official to announce. We have a script” for Don’t Breathe 2. This is the only difference. We don’t have a script for Evil Dead 2. But we have a script for Don’t Breathe 2, which we wrote.
