Clint Burton wants to take them down before they screw up the Avengers name. The problem is that they can’t compete with the new team. However, Mrs/Carol Danvers suggests that they lure Osborne’s team and disable them with a Force Inhibitor.

In Avengers Tower, Spider-Woman appears in the top window, right where the Dark Avengers are. Venom reacts instinctively and grabs him, believing him to be a Skrull, though Osborn thinks otherwise. Spider-Woman claims that the New Avengers fired her for being the face of the Skrull Queen. Venom doesn’t believe her, which causes Spider-Woman to react to her venom bursts, only for the Guardian to hang tightly over her shoulders. He tries to make a deal by declaring that he knows where the underground Avengers are hiding.

The New Avengers await in the ruins of the abandoned Hell’s Club. However, Osborn’s Avengers show up, instead Hood and his gang get involved with the New Avengers and destroy the energy drain. Osborne knew it was a trap. The New Avengers fight bravely, but realize they are outnumbered and outnumbered. So Danvers asks Spider-Woman to hit her with a venom blast, using the energy to cause a stir in their escape.
When they return to their hideout, Burton is visibly furious, especially in the part where Hood confronts Osborn. Therefore, he goes to Deadline News to inform the public about this and that Osborne should be fired. He also claims that he doesn’t mind the fact that Bullseye dresses up as Hawkeye. Matt Murdock, Luke Cage, and Foggy Nelson meet Jessica Drew on the ferry at Riker’s Island Maximum-Maximum Security Facility. The four make their way across the ferry to see Murdoch’s client. Raft has the worst of the worst, eight levels of superpowered serial killers, including the Purple Man, whom Luke Cage holds a personal grudge. After boarding the elevator, they swim eight levels underwater to the lowest level, where all the generators suddenly shut down.

Not limited to the ferry, the entire city of New York was plunged into darkness. Residents have a moment to consider a power outage as lightning cuts through the ferry.
Peter Parker initially views the power outage as a blessing as it prevents him from watching a Hugh Grant movie with his wife. Blessing until he saw lightning strike the ferry.
Spider-Man piggyback on the island at the bottom of S.H.I.E.L.D. The helicopter is hit by a stray lightning bolt, causing Spider-Man to fall into the river. Spider-Man swims through frozen water and meets the official helicopter passenger, Captain America, on the ferry.
Meanwhile, on the shuttle, Electro materializes from a lightning ball, picks up whoever he was freeing, and releases the rest of the prisoners to cover up their escape.

Doctor Strange wakes up in the Sanctum Sanctorum with his new girlfriend, Linda Carter. They claim he will open his home to the New Avengers because he feels guilty for not being with them during the Civil War. Danny Rand later enlists Strange’s help to prevent others from entering Iron Fist.
Spider-Man jokingly admits that he is a Skrull and implies that he is a sleeper agent who is unaware that he is a Skrull. Jessica says that Luke also suspects her of being a Skrull. This prompts Strange to cast a spell that reveals the shapeshifters. Charm shows a visual projection of each person’s true nature.

After the spell reveals that neither of them are Skrulls, Wolverine arrives and informs them about The Hood. He explains that Hood plans to attack Avengers Tower with Deathlok. The team agrees to help the other Avengers, even at the risk of being arrested. They reach the tower and see the Mighty Avengers pop out. They see many symbiotes on the street.
