Speaking of results, the Scavengers and their strange-talking leader, Jadis, are confident of their arrival this season. Rick Grimes doesn’t take too kindly to being double-crossed.
Daryl, like most of us, is still haunted by Glenn’s death. Maggie decides to tell Daryl that she doesn’t blame him for what happened, but that doesn’t mean Daryl can forgive himself.
How Daryl continues to act and deal with this will be part of the next season.
Morgan regained his credibility in season 6 thanks to Eastman’s rehabilitation. Last season, though, we started to see signs that Morgan was starting to break down. His encounters with the Saviors showed him that the “all life is precious” mantra he had learned from Eastman was not enough, and he showed signs of retreat.

If Morgan is going to be of any help to the Saviors in this war, he must rediscover his survival instincts. However, the downside of this potential loss is that none of it can be recovered at this time.
Many fans are still on fire after the awkward season 6 finale, where everyone had to wait seven months to find out who ended up on the wrong end of Lucille. Combine that with the brutally dark, though necessary, season 7 premiere that was enough to turn off many fans.
When you’ve been beaten as often as Rick and his gang were last season, the only place to go is up. Seeing our heroes “rise up” against the Saviors in the second half of Season 7 only sets up what’s to come in Season 8.
Many fans are worried that the popular theory is going to come true, because everything that Rick has been going through for the past 7 seasons has been a dream while in a coma. Fans worried about this need not worry.

The showrunners have repeatedly said that they have enough content to continue the series for 4-5 seasons. If the whole series was a dream, wouldn’t it really leave a story?
As an avid comic fan, I can tell you that there is still plenty of storytelling left to tell.
There is no doubt that Dwight is a troubled individual. He endured a lot during his time with the Saviors and their shenanigans, which finally started to take a toll on him in the final season.
If Dwight’s change of allegiance is real, he will give Alexandria, Hilltop and the Kingdom a major head start in the upcoming battle against Negan.

Talk about a group that needs to be brought back to earth? Look no further than the Savior. These guys are the epitome of arrogance and I’m looking forward to taking these jerks down a few notches.
In the end, we should all be thankful that we hopefully won’t have to contend with any more poorly executed CGI this season.

I’m telling you right now, if you came here looking for The Walking Dead, you came to the wrong place (I suggest you re-watch The Walking Dead if you want to catch up, but I have to tell you be warned that you’re missing out on something possibly surprising). The 90-minute series premiere is a slow build that leaves you hanging on the edge of your seat while your wide eyes scan impatiently for signs of what you know is on its way— And that’s what makes it so good. .
Do we care about everyone? About their daily life? Their real problems? No, not really. We all know that’s not what we’re here for.
Slowly, the writers throw in something to keep you hooked, to keep you waiting. They give you a glimpse of the hell that’s about to break loose, and suddenly you care again.
At the beginning of the episode, we can see Gloria eating breakfast in the church. Then we hear the old man in a hospital bed next to Nick (you honestly couldn’t tell he wasn’t breathing at all, could you?). We later get a glimpse of what looks awfully like A Walk in the Park when Madison and Travis head to the church to find Nick after he escaped from the aforementioned hospital.

What makes the premiere’s slow burn interesting rather than monotonous is the fact that it means we’re on this journey with them. I had never seen Frank Dillian in a major role before and now I can honestly say that after one 90 minute premiere I am a fan. If for no other reason to stick with this series, I urge you to try watching Nick’s journey with me.
I’m going to go on the record now and say that Nick Clarke has a track. Horror fans are going to love him a lot.
It was hard to care about the other characters, who paled in comparison to the interesting and emotional Nick. I can only hope that the other characters keep up with him, because at the moment, none of them are on the same level as in terms of holding the audience’s interest. not yet.
