Richard CrouseRichard Crouse Whedon tried to dazzle our eyes – and he does! – but he forgot to engage our brains. This movie, more than any other movie I can remember in recent memory, strikes me as one that everyone I know will see at some point in the future. Not only is it the most successful franchise of the decade so far, but it’s also another great entry in the grand experiment in filmmaking that is the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The film will be a hit as it has already been. This was confirmed by the box office results – the second biggest opening weekend of all time. When you print more than $180 million worth of money, you should be on your way to the first astronomical billion with that momentum.
This image can be accessed in two ways. Movie spoilers will be kept to a minimum because I don’t want to be that person. It is again an event film. Watching it and enjoying it will be one of the topics of cultural conversation in the coming months.

The trilogy was great, but the second film wasn’t as terrible. On the contrary, this film is very good. Reviews coming in over the past few days may not be entirely sold on how packed this movie is with stars and plot devices. It’s not wrong – there are about 25 people involved in the film’s story – but it’s not the worst problem in the world. Everyone comes to play, especially James Spader, who plays the film’s villain, Ultron. I loved Ultron more than I thought I would. Any villain doing his job is enough to entertain me. Ultron gives the gang a real challenge and it’s fun to watch.
A good movie, but it also gets mixed reviews because it’s only thought out of context. This special episode features an incredible set-up between the first film where all of our heroes team up and the upcoming two-part mega movie Infinity Wars in 2018 & 2019.
