What Is The Second Book In Divergent Series – If you’re asking that question here, you’ve probably figured out that there are some novels set in different worlds. We cover two ways to read all ten books.
Now that we’ve given you a brief overview of Veronica Roth’s world, let’s take a look at the different series in order.
What Is The Second Book In Divergent Series
This is the order in which the books were released and how most fans of the series have enjoyed them.
Veronica Roth Insurgent And Allegiant Set Two Books
As you can see, there are only three main books, but a series of novels/short stories. Five of those novels have been compiled into a book called Four.
The Path to Allegiant and We Can Be Mended are in no way separate and must be purchased separately.
Since all the novels are primarily set after the completion of the trilogy, most of their content takes place long before that.
With that in mind, the best Divergent series order is to read the books in chronological order. I usually advise against such approaches, but I don’t believe there are any spoilers in the prequels.
What Happened To The Final ‘divergent’ Movie ‘ascendant’? Details
Maybe some parenting details, but I don’t think these details are important enough to read later.
Personally, I don’t like going back in time, so if I don’t read the prologues first, I know I won’t read them. It is up to you to decide which different series order to use.
For those who want to know a little more about what each book covers, keep reading. I’ll give a brief description of what they’re doing without giving away any spoilers.
In the opening moments of the first book, Divergent, we see Tris undergo a selection ceremony similar to popular books like The Hunger Games, The Giver, and The Selection, except she is chosen for herself.
The Divergent Series By Veronica Roth 4 Book Set Insurgent, Allegiant, Four
Five social ideals they are choosing. The characteristics and rules of the profession dictate how she behaves for the rest of her life, private or otherwise.
Before the selection ceremony, new batch candidates will take an aptitude test. This test is designed to provide you with a single faction that you are aligned with.
Erudites are intellectuals. He enjoys reading, studying and researching. The faction was created because the founders believed that ignorance was the cause of the world’s problems.
In addition to their crop-growing duties, they can act as advisors and artists due to their impartial nature and open-mindedness.
Insurgent (book Two)
Candor was founded on the belief that all problems stem from dishonesty. People with honesty speak the truth no matter how difficult it may be.
The uncouth believe that confusion is the cause of society’s downfall. Believe that they will be strong and face your fears.
As an aside: if their society was so perfect, there would obviously be no need for this faction, wouldn’t you say?
Exterminators are selfless people. This is the faction Tris Prior was born into. They don’t have mirrors because looking at yourself is considered vanity.
Divergent’ Cast: Where Are They Now?
They believe that any action that benefits you should be avoided. Abhava is a service and humanitarian branch of society.
If you’re worried, go ahead and leave it until later. You will know when to read it.
The book mainly focuses on Tris’ selection ceremony and the subsequent events that mark her initiation into the faction.
This is a very short story. I don’t know if it’s worth calling it a short story.
Insurgent Anniversary Edition
A retelling of a major event in Divergent from Four’s point of view. It is only 13 pages long and costs 99c on its own.
If you don’t want to figure out when and how to read it, I suggest starting it right after you finish Divergent, but before you move on to Rebellion.
The storyline takes a bit of a turn here, becoming more about just Tris and society as a whole and the problems that are still evident in this supposed utopia.
Tris and Four are still front and center, but it’s no longer about their own personal troubles, and that’s huge.
Hey Today’s Book Is Insurgent(in Sir Gent )
This little book is free. No cost. You can go to Amazon and download it now. I’m not sure if that price will stay the same or if I happen upon a sale.
If you’ve talked to anyone who’s read these books, you probably already know this, but I’ve never in my life wanted to throw a book away so badly.
The novel is again told from Four’s point of view and shows the aftermath of the series’ conclusion and focuses on confronting and dealing with PTSD-type issues.

Review: ‘insurgent’ Is Improvement On ‘divergent’
Beatrice Prior, the main character, lives in a dystopia world where society is divided into five factions. Each faction dedicates itself to cultivating a particular virtue – Candor (honest), Temperance (selfless), Harmless (brave), Amity (peaceful), and Erudite (intelligent). In an annual selection ceremony, each sixteen-year-old must choose the faction in which they will spend the rest of their lives. Beatrice joins the Dauntless and leaves her family behind when she learns about her dangerous trait, Divergence. Beatrice renames herself “Tris” as the highly competitive initiative continues. In the end, she completes the initiation and is accepted into the faction. However, when Erudite takes control of Dauntless and, with the help of his so-called friend, wages war on the rest of the factions causing near-annihilation of the Denial, the world is thrown into chaos after its inception, also known as The Beginning. . His boy, Four, you will eventually know as Tobias from the Ainmena faction. His father was a council member like Tris’s father.
A choice can change you – or it can destroy you. But every choice has consequences, and as unrest grows in the factions around her, Tris Prior must continue to try to save the ones she loves and herself while grappling with poignant questions of grief and forgiveness, identity and loyalty, politics and love. Tris’s initiation day should be marked by celebration and victory with her chosen faction; Instead, the day ended in unspeakable horror. The war now escalates as the conflict between factions and their ideologies increases. And during the battle, sides must be chosen, secrets emerge and choices become even more irreversible and more powerful. Changed by her own decisions but filled with overwhelming sadness and guilt, through radical new discoveries and changing relationships, Tris must fully embrace her diversity, even if she doesn’t know what she’ll lose in doing so.
The faction-based society that Tris Prior once believed in is fractured – fractured by violence and power struggles, and scarred by loss and betrayal. So when they’re given the chance to explore a world beyond known borders, Tris is ready. Perhaps outside the fence, she and Tobias are free from complicated lies, intertwined loyalties, and painful memories.
But Tris’ new reality is even scarier than the one she left behind. Old inventions are quickly rendered meaningless. Explosive new truths change the hearts of those she loves. Once again, Tris must grapple with the complexities of understanding human nature — and herself — as she faces impossible choices about courage, loyalty, sacrifice, and love.
Thrilling Dystopian Books Like ‘divergent’ By Veronica Roth
Two years before Beatrice Prior made her choice, the sixteen-year-old son of the leader of the Rejection faction did the same. Tobias’ move to Dauntless is an opportunity to start over. Here, he is not given the name given to him by his parents. Here, he doesn’t let fear turn him into a pitiful child.
Newly christened “Four”, he discovers during his initiation that he will succeed Dauntless. The initiative is just the beginning, however; Four must take their place in the dauntless hierarchy. His decisions will affect future initiatives and uncover secrets that threaten his own future – and the future of the entire faction system.
Two years later, Four will take action, but the course remains unclear. The first new entrepreneur to jump into the fold can change everything. With her, the way to fix their world may become clear. With her, maybe Tobias again.
