What The Weather Going To Be This Week – MERIDIAN, Mississippi () – With temperatures in the low 80s and lows in the 40s and 50s this weekend, we’re heading into fall. This will continue tomorrow and we will see temperatures stay cool during the morning with temperatures just below 80 degrees across the region.
It’s cool and dry this week so you won’t need an umbrella, but it will start to warm up later this week. Temperatures will hover around 80 degrees for the second half of the week, but the cold will move in, with lows returning to the 40s and highs in the 70s.
What The Weather Going To Be This Week
Tropics Tracking: We don’t have a naming system in the Atlantic, but we do have two potentially developing areas, one in the eastern Atlantic with the potential to develop in the next 5 days, and another in the mid-Atlantic in 20. % Growth potential. The eastern Atlantic system does not appear to be affecting the continental United States, but we are watching other areas move into the Caribbean. Saturday and Sunday, our next limit will begin to enter the Saturday area. There may be some rain, but most of it will be concentrated far south of the Mississippi. Saturday’s high was in the mid-$50s, and we expect Sunday to be the same. Sunshine for two days. Lows are expected to dip into the lower 30s Sunday night, and possibly into the low 20s. Cloudy Saturday and Sunday night.
Rain Chances Slowly Going Up
We’ll keep it cool this weekend, but next week will be warm and rainy as Thanksgiving approaches!
On Monday, we returned with dry weather and mostly clear skies. Highs remained in the mid-50s Monday, while lows dipped into the lower 40s. Our high pressure system is dominating the area again which will help warm temperatures throughout the week. Our good weather trend continues on Tuesday with mostly sunny days. Low 60s. Lows are in the low 40s.
On Wednesday and into Thanksgiving, highs will climb into the 60s. Rain chances are expected to return on Thursday, but models are sporadic for now.
Expect to dip into the low 50s the next two nights. Partly sunny on Wednesday, cloudy on Thursday. Currently, we mark Thanksgiving as a 30% chance of rain.
Drier Trade Wind Weather Returns Till Midweek
There is a possibility of light rain in the area on Friday as well. Highs fell into the mid-50s. Mostly sunny in the area. MYRTLE BEACH, South Carolina (WMBF) – The weather remains sunny and calm as we head into the weekend. Go outside and enjoy a break from the rain.
Highs in the 70s are expected this afternoon along the Grand Strand and inland. The weather will remain clear during the rest of the evening. Tonight, skies will be clear with overnight temperatures in the 50s on the beaches and highs in the upper 40s. Southwesterly winds will bring warmer temperatures on Thursday.
We are waiting for good weather tomorrow. Skies will be mostly clear with temperatures in the mid-70s, with inland highs likely in the 80s. However, another backdoor cold front will slide through Thursday night, resulting in a change in wind direction. This will reduce Friday’s high briefly, but the day should remain dry. On Friday, highs will dip into the mid-60s along the beaches and upper 60s inland.
It’s hard to complain about the forecast. Temperatures on the Grand Strand reached the low to mid 70s. Inland highs may be in the 70s to 80s with only 20 percent scattered precipitation. (WMBF)

The coming weekend will be even warmer. The Grand Strand will see highs in the 70s on Saturday, while inland areas will see highs in the upper 70s. Scattered pop-up showers are possible with temperatures of 20% on Saturday.
Sunday will warm again, with temperatures in the 70s along the beaches and 80s inland, with sun and clouds.
