When a user asked, “Will we get anything new from NetherRealm in 2023?” Boon simply replied, “I don’t have to ask myself,” as he answered a similar question by saying, “I don’t have to answer 23.”

When pressed further on the matter by another person who asked if there would be any announcement about the project in the next six months, Boon said “maybe”.
