Wicked’ Cancels More Shows Due To Positive Covid 19 Results
“Almost from the start, Salt Lake’s cast albums were the sixth or seventh best-selling album,” he said. “It’s just cities like New York, Chicago and Los Angeles where the show ran for years.
“But Salt Lake is ahead of Houston, Boston and other big cities. This is the second time ‘Wicked’ has come to Salt Lake, and it sells out right away.”
According to Elizabeth Nebecker of MagicSpace Entertainment, “‘Wicked’ will be another record-breaking collaboration with only scattered locations at the end of the series.”
But Salt Lake didn’t hit the market in terms of selling great tickets or honoring a musical based on what happened before Kansas’ Dorothy Gale landed in Oz — making the most of the work between Scarecrow, The Tin Man, The Lion, The Wicked a witch of the West and Glinda the Good Witch.
