This is one of the most popular holy places. It is a favorite for memory work. He encourages us to be humble and promises that God will bless us if we do so. In particular, the next verse instructs us to “cast” our cares upon the Lord. Is it because we have to be humble before we can put our burden on the Lord? This verse gives us a lot to think about, but we can all agree that it is comforting that “He cares for you.” This care is clear when we see his son on the cross who died for our sins.
